Orchid's covered in sweat from the heat and the fighting that went on earlier, and her bat is covered in Grimm blood (and back to not being covered in spikes and razor wire, so that's nice. She looks at Haze and Sylvie. Sylvie she especially looks at. She wears a heavy look of disdain and resignation.
"Truce while we try not to die?" She asks.

Sylvie's looking chipper and well-rested as she catches up with Haze and they come across Orchid and Scarlet - she had looked a bit drained and ashy when she's finished off the Grimm, but her colour had returned almost immediately and she hardly looks like she's been in a fight at all, now. In fact, she shows more signs of the fight with Orchid, as a streak of bright, bloody red has been in her hair since the night before.
It only takes a split second for Sylvie to assess the situation she and Haze have stumbled across - a single disdainful snort given in Orchid's direction before Sylvie focuses on Scarlet and bounds up to wrap the other girl in aother bear hug. She seems to be an enthusiastic greeter regardless of time spent apart.
"Poor Scary" she says with a note of genuine sympathy in her tone. She hears Orchid offer truce and makes a face as she releases Scarlet, giving Orchid a glance again.
"Didn't BB and I settle your hash yesterday?" She asks, waving away any response before it can be fully made.
"Don't worry," she adds scornfully to Orchid. "You aren't even in my top 10 of priorities."
Putting her hands on Scarlet's shoulders, she says seriously, "if Stinks gives you any problems, let me know, OK?"
Then Sylvie's serious mien falls aside and she grins again, releasing Scarlet.
"I had more luck than you," she says to Scarlet. "This is Haze," she gestures at her new partner, adding, "she kicks ass."
Turning to Haze, Sylvie's grin is wide with delight as she continues her introductions.
"Haze, this is my friend Scarlet. She's badass." Her smile twists into a smirk as she jabs a thumb in Orchid's direction, concluding, "and this is Stinks, who thinks she's crazy awesome, but she's really just crazy."

Haze was whole and hale despite their earlier fight. Thankfully, her aura had protected her from the worst of it. Her hands rested loosely on the silver and steel tonfas at her sides as they approached the others girls.
The animosity was palpable as Sylvie and Orchid spoke. Haze took this time before the introductions to learn as much as she could. Guessing from the all that was said she guessed Orchid was the girl the trio had been talking about the night before in the ballroom. Since she hadn't been there the night before Haze gave her the once over curiously while Sylvie focused on Scarlet.
Upon her introduction, Haze raised her right hand from her side. Touching two fingers to her forehead and then quickly away in an offhanded and informal salute to the pair. "Nice to meet'cha." She managed a smile. Looking first to Scarlet and then to Orchid.
Her silver eyes lingered on Orchid a moment. "As endearing a nickname as that is I am sure...what's you're real name?"
She would wait for a response before glancing around warily. Hands back on her weapons.

"Oof!" Scarlet said as Sylie's embrace engulfed her, "Glad to see you made it," she said after she got released from the vice like grip, "And please don't call Orchid "Stinks" I know there's some bad blood between you but I would quite like it if my friends could get along with my partner? Anyway Orchid and I defeated a King Taijitu, big double headed snake," Scarlet doubted that Orchid needed her to speak on her behalf but she wanted to try and calm things down.
"Nice to meet you, Haze," Scarlet offered her a hand to shake.

"I don't care what anyone calls me." She says, pulling out her second cigarette, and hopefully the last one of the day, before lighting it up. She takes a breath, exhales and looks to the others. "Let's go get our prize."
With that, she turns on her heavily booted heel, and starts trudging off towards their destination.

"Was there any doubt!?" Sylvie exclaims in a wounded tone so over the top it's clearly fake - but there's a flash of genuine hurt in her eyes that only Scarlet is likely to see when she's effectively chided by both of the people in the group whose opinions she cares at all about. But it's gone as swiftly as it came and Sylvie gives an exaggerated sigh.
"Only for you," she tells Scarlet. "It's not me you have to worry about, anyways."
Sylvie snorts at Orchid's response, but leans in to stage-whisper to Haze loudly enough even Orchid should have no problem hearing her.
"Immediate rudeness? I think that means she likes you"
Sylvie's voice returns to a normal pitch and an affable tone as she adds, still mostly to Haze, "she introduced herself to me as Orchid Slinks. As she apparently introduced herself as at least Orchid to Scarlet, I think that we can assume she'll answer to that."
Putting an arm around Scarlet's shoulders and the other around Haze's, Sylvie adds, "now c'mon, I'm sure I saw one of BB's portals, let's see if we can catch up with them!"

Orchid's flippant reply made Haze raise an eyebrow. She had only been trying to be nice; give the girl the benefit of the doubt. But now she could see know how this other girl had so easily made enemies. It didn't make sense to alienate those you might be working with closely in the future...but maybe she had her reasons. Either way, Haze was not inclined to like her much at this very moment.
"Immediate rudeness? I think that means she likes you"
Haze snickered and glanced over at those words, giving Sylvie and inquisitive look. Her silver eyes sparkled with amusement. "Is that anything like when a boy pulls at a girl's hair because he likes her?"
She tensed a moment when Sylvie slid an arm over her shoulders. It wasn't that she didn't like contact with others...but Sylvie was still so new, such a wild card given what Haze suspected about her background. Despite conflicting feelings, she was able to force herself to calm and un-tense in short order. She even found herself enjoying the possibility of a new...friend maybe?
Whoever BB was they were still a mystery to Haze. But she was sure she would find out if they ever found this person. "Well if we don't hurry I think Scarlet's partner is going to leave us behind. Let's go find this portal maker and the things we came for."
Haze would wait for Scarlet and Sylvie to move before she went as well. Her eyes scanned around, making sure nothing caught them unawares.

there is a growl from Orchid's direction and something jumps out of the woods at her not an Ursa no... It's an Ursa Major! Spikey beastly and far larger than anything the group has faced thus far. Towering in their way.

Orchid can't see anything out of one entire side of her, but the growl tips her off. As soon as she hears the growl she's swung out her bat, it growing spikey with sprouted nails and barbed wire, and all her strength into the blow. She doesn't move at all, she holds her ground, trying to use the bat to ward off the threat.

Goal: Gives orders. Move to Orchid.
"Perhaps you don't care what people call you, that's fine but I do mind," Scarlet said before the Ursa Major charged out at them. "Aw crap. Haze, Sylvie take flanking positions, let's see if we can confuse it by attacking from multiple directions at once," Scarlet sprinted over to stand with Orchid.

Sylvie looks equal parts amused and thoughtful at the question. She notices the tension in Haze and pats both girls on the shoulder then releases them so they can travel easily over the rough terrain, tone amused as she answers,
"Oh, I was just thinking that she's skipped playing nice and went straight to... well, what seems her default mode. But now you got me thinking, does that mean-"
Whatever Sylvie was going to ask is lost in the growl of the huge Grimm and her attention skips immediately from Haze to the beast bearing down on Orchid. All jesting falls aside immediately and she nods once to Scarlet's instruction, leaping away from Haze, trusting both girls to do their parts.
Now that she isn't the target of it, Sylvie can appreciate Orchid's defiance better - even if she thinks it's still a little crazy. Well, actually a lot crazy - an ursa is big enough, but Orchid barely comes up to the knee of an ursa major. Standing her ground could get her killed. Or her partner, as Scarlet leaps to Orchid's side.
"YO FATASS!" Sylvie yells at the beast, hoping to confuse or distract it from the others and help Scarlet protect Orchid. "OVER HERE! I'm MUCH tastier!"
As she taunts the beast she waves her empty arms above her head - but if the Grimm charges at her, she'll leap as high as she can, counting on aura boosted strength and her extending-arms trick to get her above the ursa major as it reaches where she stands.

**Combat Intention: Distract The Ursa for the group.**
The large, familiar, roar made Haze shiver a moment. An Ursa Major was no easy foe to take down. The four of them had their work cut out for them.
She watched as Orchid turned to face the Grimm and Scarlet moved to cover her partner. Haze pulled Argent Facade free of their restraints. She twirled the tonfas so the long ends ran back the length of her forearm then clicked the buttons to spring the blades forth. All the while her eyes darted from fighter to fighter, taking in what she could to try and see if there was some combination that would make it easier on everyone. Keep them alive to pass this test. "You want a distraction? I can give you a distraction." She muttered under her breath as Sylvie started hooting and hollering to try and draw the Ursa's ire.
Haze closed her eyes and breathed out shallowly. Mist started to seep from her very being, pouring down her limbs and enveloping her completely in seconds. For a moment it billowed out along the ground and lapped at Sylvie's ankles. Then it was gone, as so was Haze.
Seconds passed and then an arrow came whizzing from somewhere up in the trees. It bounced off the Ursa's hide. After a count of five another arrow darted from another direction. This one digging in deep on one of the Ursa's joints. Finally, another arrow shot from just over Sylvie's shoulder, shearing a long gouge along the Grimm's bone mask.
Haze was perched in a tree, breathing a little quickly. Her tonfas were gone, in their place was a very serrated looking bow. She reached behind her and pulled a yellow dust crystal from a pouch at her back. With a deft movement she inserted it into the grip. There was a brief shimmer and then the bow crackled as bolts of lighting shot up and down the pointy lengths.
She slowed her breath and finally drew the string back with her right hand. As she did, an arrow of pure electricity formed. Haze waited some time, letting the others work at the creature and wear it down further. She was hoping to at least disable the Ursa to a point that one of the others could take it out. Training her eye along the sight, Haze tracked the Grimm and aimed for one of it's unprotected eyes.
"Everyone jump back!"
((OOC: I figure the original arrows didn't hurt overly much and I wanted to make sure others had more time for actions before I went any further. I hope this is ok))

Goal: take Orchid's weapon.
SO the Grimm will force it's mouth down around the bat it rips through flesh and ichor drips but the Grimm seems mainly unphased, then it Will begin to barrel towards Sylvie having gotten distracted by her, moving away from Orchid and Scarlet, it gets within inches of her before the arrows strike, it doesn't seem to bother, however it does swing around charges towards the tree Haze is in.

Goal: Hold on for dear life, no matter the cost
Orchid grunts, feeling the Grimm tear at the bat, but she just tightens her grip. She's really strong. So is the Grimm. So is the bat. Gravity gives way, and she gets ripped off the ground, trailing along the side of the giant Bear Grimm. She yelps, of course, but tries to get her feet planted against the bear if she can.
One thing is for sure; She is not letting go, and she's going to do as much damage as she can.

Goal: Stab spear into knee of Ursa.
"Just let go of the bat!" Scarlet shouted at her new team mate knowing that a weapon can be replaced but Orchid couldn't. Scarlet gave chase, jumped and extended her spear in mid-air, aiming to ram it through the knee of the Ursa Major.

Goal: make the ursa drop Orchid (method: land on/ride the ursa until it decides Sylvie is its priority)
"Good luck with that," Sylvie says under her breath. Granted her acquaintance with Orchid has been short, but everything she's seen of the one-eyed girl indicates she's completely incapable of backing down, letting go or even making a strategic retreat. She's even more stubborn than Sylvie, which is saying quite a bit.
No, Sylvie's pretty sure that it will be easier to get the ursa to let go than to talk sense into Orchid - so she focuses on exactly that.
Sylvie did succeed in getting the ursa to charge at her and she leaps as she'd planned, extending her gloved hands on red columns to grab a branch well above the beast's head. It changing course for Haze is a little annoying, but not unmanageable - she has to swing along a branch or two, but she's able to aim herself towards the Grimm's back, just behind what passes for a neck on the huge beast.
She doesn't spend the time to reabsorb the bloody arm extensions, focusing instead on reshaping them - keeping some arm length, but also growing claws on the ends of her fingers, ones long enough to reach through the shaggy, matted fur of the beast and sink into its flesh. It's not enough to seriously wound the ursa, but that isn't her goal - she wants a solid grip so she won't be leaving its back until she chooses. She also wants to hurt it, wants it to feel she's there and hopefully find her more annoying than Orchid. It's a tall order, but if any of them can accomplish that, it's Sylvie. On that, she figures even Orchid would agree.

Goal: Damage the Grimm and back off. (Method - Shoot the Grimm in the eye with the Electric/Lightning dust arrow and the slash at it with the pointy bits of her bow).
Haze hissed as she drew more attention off her partner than she had meant to. Not only that, but the Grimm was barreling at her with with pretty much everyone in tow...and Orchid hanging from the Ursa's jaw by her weapon of all things. Ok, Sylvie was right, this girl was a little nuts.
Her arms shook a little from the effort of holding the dust arrow nocked. She could feel little stings and jolts of electricity through her fingers, along her arms, and across her cheek while she tried to sight her target. Haze blew out a calming breath and aimed for the Grimm's left eye - the side Orchid wasn't hanging from - and finally let it loose.
She didn't waste any time. As soon as the arrow was in the air Haze bent her knees and pushed off the branch she was perched on. She flipped in the air and gripped the bow on the non-serrated side with both hands. She came along that same left side of the Ursa as her arrow and raked her weapon all along its side as she whizzed by, hoping to gouge into it while avoiding a swipe from the creature's massive paws.
If she didn't get hit she would land on the ground and tuck herself in a roll to take her farther away.

Goal: Throw Orchid at Scarlet.
Orchid holds onto the bat for dear life being pulled along taking 20 Aura damage from being stomped and dragged underfoot.
Sylvie gets on the back of the Ursa as the spear hits, making it angry it will move and shake the bat ichor spilling from its teeth then shake off the bat directly towards Scarlet sending Orchid flying at her own partner.
Haze's lightening arrow hits not only that but near the spear directing the charge into the Ursa Major making it rear up in pain bucking Sylvie off as the electricity comes close to her.

Goal: Shoot the heck out of the Ursa Major
Orchid doesn't have a lot of control in the air over where she's going. She does however have control over her arms. Still holding onto her bat with her left hand, she reaches to her belt and takes out the purple colored Uzi. She points it ahead of her, which is behind the direction she is actually flying, and pulls the trigger, spraying a blast of hot lead into the giant Grimm's face.
She leaves getting out of the way to Scarlet.

Goal: Catch Orchid.
Scarlet was looking for another opening to ram her spear into the Ursa Major. It was a big, hulking creature but it was also quite fast, faster than she had anticipated. Those powerful claws could easily knock her down in a single swipe.
It was then her earlier advise to Orchid came back to haunt her as Orchid was suddenly flung in her direction. Scarlet quickly dropped her spear and instead of leaping out of the way she tried to catch her partner. Of course a person is actually pretty heavy and this had a result of the two of them collapsing in a heap in the grass.

Goal: land safely
Sylvie was braced to ride the Grimm for as long as necessary. What she wasn't braced for was an electrical attack on something she was connected to by her blood.
The Grimm, of course, takes most of the charge and Sylvie is able to avoid any real damage - but she has to let go pretty quickly. Without a tight grip on the beast, she goes sailing the instant it rears up, launching her into the air and through the trees, landing some distance away from the rest and going quiet.
Just as her friend or new partner might start to worry about her, her voice can be heard gasping through the underbrush.
"Whoo! That was one spicy meatball!"

Goal: Blind the Ursa (Method: Using her Mist/Obscurus Semblance)
Haze watched with concern as Sylvie flew overhead and into the trees. She could have sworn the other girl had had a tighter grip on the Ursa before... "Ooops." She muttered.
She was about to turn and check on her partner when she heard Sylvie call out. Despite the gasp and wheeze the other girl sounded mostly intact. That was good, if she was making jokes she couldn't be too badly injured.
When her attention returned fully to scene in front of her Haze bit her lip. Scarlet and Orchid were in a heap by the Grimm. They were far too close and exposed for her liking. Sure she had heard Orchid's gun go off so there was a chance the creature was far more injured than before, but this for was a more powerful foe than what they had faced before and she wasn't sure how the other pair had fared previously. If they had expended too much against other Grimm they might be in trouble.
Haze put both her hands on the grip of her bow and twisted. It came apart at the middle and the grips folded forward to become the hilts of her tonfas once more. The bow string, now loose, unhooked and zinged back into the length of one of the tonfas. She was careful with the bladed weapons as she knelt and pressed a hand to the ground.
"Scarlet! Orchid! Grab your things and back off! This should blind it. If it can't see us it will have a harder time stopping our attacks. Sylvie! Get out here and do some more damage!"
Her eyes closed and she focused on the Ursa Major. Mist appeared from beneath her hand, spilling out between her fingers and slithering out along the ground towards its intended target. It rushed up and over the creature swirling around it's face and one good eye. Haze let out a shaky breath, hoping this would work like it had with the rat before it. The group of girls had no trouble seeing the Ursa to get hits in, but with Obscurus active the Ursa would either be completely blinded or at least have a much harder time seeing them to hit them.

Goal: Attack Scarlet and Orchid.
Orchid will spray her fire at the Ursa ash and ichor flying as the bullets hit. When Orchid slams into Scarlet the other girl is able to cushion her from the fall the two of them land on the ground.
Sylvie lands with ease with only a slight static.
As the Ursa's hand leaps out to slash at the two girls in front of it mist is going to rise around it obscuring it's vision and putting it at a disadvantage.

Goal: Get hit rather than Scarlet
Orchid quickly gets to her feet, and when she sees the paw slashing out she braces herself, digging in her heels. She brings her bat up and tries her best to parry the massive paw. When it impacts, she resists it, and grunts. She either blocks it or goes flying, but the goal is to take the brunt of it either way, rather than Scarlet.
This will also give the other girls a chance to murderize it.
She hopes.

Goal: Jab spear into Ursa's throat.
Scarlet was laying underneath Orchid, so could do little when she heard the Ursa Major roar and come crashing towards them, swinging it's mighty paw. She might have been able to get her shield up had Orchid not been on top of her but her partner got up and was using her bat to try and deflect the blow. This gave Scarlet an open though, springing to her feet, Scarlet dodged around the braced Orchid and rammed her spear up at the exposed throat of the ursa, at same time pressing the release button so that the spear would extend to it's full 8 feet in length, hopefully driving it further into the ursa's neck.

Goal: get back on that bear and lasso the ursa major (yeehaw!)
"Me!?" Sylvie hollers back to Haze's orders, her "outraged" tone belied by follow up laughter. "I'm flattered, but I think I'm gonna need a lot of help!"
Even as she kvetches she's moving - back on her feet, then launching herself I the air over the Ursa. She's not entirely sure what Haze's fog does since it doesn't impair the girl's allies, but she trusts that it does something, since Haze's butt is on the line here too.
Sylvie flies over the Grimm, high enough to clear it but low enough it could conceivably swat her out of the air, if it sees her, or takes its attention away from Orchid's sweet, sweet fatalism. Sylvie's aim is the beast's back, but not so much to monopolize its attention as to put herself as close as possible while making it hard for the Ursa to reach her.
Red tendrils flow from her gloved hands, oozing out to loop around the Grimm's shaggy neck. The goal is for it to slip through the fur and settle directly against what passes for the skin of the neck, then start to constrict. If the beast has blood, this should help cut off the supply to its brain. Even if it doesn't, Sylvie's construct will become edged as it continues to tighten, hopefully cutting through the neck entirely in a couple of rounds.
Either way, if she succeeds, Sylvie will be anchored tightly to the back of the beast's neck until one of them is out of the battle.
(Sorry that took so long!)

Goal: Try to take out the Ursa's back legs (one or the other...or both)
Haze pushed herself standing once more and hefted her silver and steel bladed tonfas in each hand again. Her eyes focused on the creature and the girls around it...and dive bombing the top of it. A quick smirk touched her lips at Sylvie's rodeo attempt, hoping it went better for her this time. It should since Haze wasn't going to be shooting more lightning into the beast.
She came around the other side of the Ursa, near the back legs. After a moment of gauging the odds Haze launched forward and slashed as hard and fast as she could at those limbs. She hoped to take one or both out and ruin the monster's maneuverability.

The Ursa Major Knocks Orchid to the side not just clawing into her aura but tossing her to the side into a tree she will slide down and fall behind a group of bushes.
Sylvie will jump up on the Ursa and secures herself to the Ursa's back distracting it allowing Haze to take out the Ursa's back legs immobilizing it so that Scarlet can jump up with her spear all their combine actions turning the Ursa to Ash.
