Son of a Meteorologists he has always been fascinated by the sky, it always made him feel very small and he felt smaller as he grew up and didn't really gain any height, once day he realized while being picked on that he could paralyse those he touched with his bare hand while using his semblance, after that he wanted desperately to be a Hunter someone who's small size didn't matter but could still have a great impact like a shooting star touching the ground.
