The "entrance exam" is over and so are the basic team introductions, but no one's had much time to talk to each other, barely having time to catch their breath. With the formal assembly over, everyone's gone their separate ways - inasmuch as people all going to the same basic area can be said to be "separating." Sylvie's a tall girl with blue hair, wearing a short dress in shades of blue. Over the dress she has some strategic armour pieces, particularly a partial breast plate and shoulder pauldrons, along with short metallic gloves and boots. She wanders down the hall, looking at room numbers until she finds one across the hall from some of the noisier sources of chatter.
She's brought her bags with her - all of them. Or close enough, as there's more than most of the students have brought. They're gliding along the floor in her wake, tendrils of crimson trailing from the fingers of one hand and disappearing under the luggage.
Opening the door with her free hand, she frowns around the room - a slightly odd expression on someone normally always smiling, even if nobody else seems to get the joke. The luggage rolls into the room and lands with a soft *thunk* and the smile returns as the tendrils of red flow back through the seams in the gauntlet and disappear.
"So this is home, huh? We are all gonna have to get pretty damn friendly before this semester's over!" she declares with a laugh.
((put yourselves wherever you wish - following Sylvie, already beat her to the room and claimed your favourite bed, whatever! Have fun with it, this is what this thread's for ))

Haze had taken a moment after the team introductions to slip out and get her things that she had conveniently stored in her locker before the initiation at the cliffs. Still in her combat outfit with Argent Facade (her two silver and steel tonfas) secured at her sides, she lugged her things down the hall. The noise from the other rooms of students set her nerves to jangling, so much so that she nearly missed Sylvie in the open doorway of their room.
With a quick few steps to the side she managed not to embarrass herself. She dropped her bags at her feet and took a better look around, a frown knit her delicate brows for a moment. Haze raised a hand and brushed a lock of hair back behind her ear. "Not the worst accommodations I have had in my life I guess..." She said quietly, glancing sideways at Sylvie before stepping over her bags.
Haze moved to the large picture window between the two middle two beds and opened it wide. As a breeze blew in she took a deep breath and smiled, enjoying the fresh air for a moment. The room had smelled a little musty before...a little cramped. Then she turned back towards the door, pulling herself up onto the low bookshelf and tucking her legs underneath her. "Any preference on where you sleep?" Haze asked, spreading her arms out to indicate the options available.

Walter walks into the living quarters. He slowly paces around the area, giving everything a very curious look-over before putting his bags down somewhere out of everyone's way. He knocks on some of the walls and doors, determining their sturdiness as best he can and looks to the others present. "Hello, I'm Walter Sapelli." His long, though well-combed and maintained beard gives the impression that he does not like shaving and will not unless he absolutely has to. The faunus' vulpine ears give subtle movements as he listens to any other introductions and chatter.

Erin was the last one to enter. He still wore clothes scuffed up from any battles in the forest. His violin case was strapped across his back. His long black hair was still bound back and the scales on his skin shimmered over his features that the light from the window cast onto him. One blue and one green eye flickered over the people in the room. He had a bag/pack in one hand and a case in the other. Standing in the entrance and looking over the people there one might wonder if he was going to speak at all. Then with a bit of a nod and a smile he slipped in.
"Hi, I'm Erin" He moved towards one of the beds nearer to the window and dropped his bags onto them. "I'd like this one....has any of the beds been claimed yet...?" Since he had been the last one there.

"Nice to meet you fellas properly. I'm Sylvie Larimar," the blue haired girl says in response to the boys introducing themselves.
At Haze and Erin's questions (Haze: "Any preference on where you sleep?" Erin: "...has any of the beds been claimed yet...?") Sylvie laughs cheerfully.
"Don't ask me. Team lead gets first dibs," she says, gesturing at Haze, who would have been announced as leader during the ceremony.
"I'll wrestle ya's for next choice," Sylvie adds with a laugh, more or less to both boys, though a bit more to Erin, who had expressed a preference already. It's hard to be sure if her accompanying grin is bloodthirsty or flirty. Perhaps both.

Haze nodded to the boys as they entered and raised her right hand to wiggle her fingers in a small wave. They'd heard her name in the amphitheater when they were all presented as a team so she didn't feel the need to speak it again. The less people lingered on thoughts of her last name the better anyway.
Being called team leader for the second time in such a short span made her freeze momentarily...though it would be harder to tell given her position perched on the bookcase. She wasn't sure what she thought of being in charge of this little band of misfits. So many unknowns, so much to learn about each in order to have them work cohesively and efficiently as a team. That meant opening up to them about herself as well. Yet another can of worms she wasn't yet ready to think about.
Sylvie's comment about Haze getting first dibs finally registered. Only a few moments after it was spoken really, but Haze's mind had been a tangled web of emotions and thoughts that it had seemed like hours to her. She grinned and slid onto the other bed closest to the window. "Well, I am good with this one..."
Her silver eyes sparkled as she looked at each of her new team mates in turn. She slid her hand over the covers of the bed, thinking idly (and quickly) that it would be strange to be sleeping in a bed again. "So...about that scuffle you're going to have?" Her tone was light and expectant.

Walter looks around at the beds and says "They all seem the same, just different placements. Unless we want to try and rig up bunk beds." He pauses and says "In other words, I have no preference, everyone can take their pick first." He smiles lightly.

Erin glanced to Walter as he spoke and sat on the bed that he'd chosen. "If You have no preference... I'd like this one." He looked towards the other girl and smiled to see if she actually did have a preference. Lifting a hand to rub the scale on the side of his neck lightly.
He didn't seem to want to scuffle if there wasn't a need. He placed his violin case lightly on his lap and looked between the other three with those duel colored eyes.

Sylvie looked at Walter, then Erin, then Haze. With an exaggeratedly aggravated sigh she throws her gloved hands in the air.
"These guys are no fun," she grouses to Haze, then goes to flop on her back on the unoccupied bed nearest Haze's. Then she props herself up on her elbows, looking around with a thoughtful expression.
"Though bunk beds do sound like a thought. Or better yet, hammocks. What do you think?"
She addresses the question to Haze, but before she gets a reply she glances at her bags, points a finger, and blood red seeps from the seams of the finger of the gauntlet, unfurling like a time lapse film of a fast growing vine. The vine slides under most of her bags and they start to glide across the floor, stuffing themselves underneath her chosen bed.
As the bags start to move Sylvie looks back to Haze, awaiting an answer to the hammock question.

Haze let out a long held sigh and flopped back on the bed as people settled in a bit further. Her silver eyes trained on the ceiling as the mention of bunk beds and/or hammocks was brought up. She took in the structure of the room and those eyes narrowed slightly as the logistics of it all came to the forefront. "I am not against Hammocks myself. They would give us more room to actually live in instead of always stepping on each other's toes. It might take some doing since the room doesn't seem to have been made for it but as long as we secure everything correctly our weight could be born with little issue..."
She blinked as she noticed how she had slipped into planning mode. Her cheeks reddened a little and hopped up to go and pick up her bags where she had originally dropped them, bringing them back to the bed. "Anyone good with structural things and all that?" Haze asked as she sat back down, looking around at her teammates.
