Lancetta frowned as she shuffled into the Amphitheater, she had Just made new friends, and already managed to misplace them... Oh well, with everybody here it should be easy enough to find them.. She scolded herself for not paying better attention, all it had taken was getting distracted for a moment for her to wander away from the others and end up relatively lost... She sighed as she paid attention to the Headmaster, and quite possibly not nearly enough to where she was going..

Umbra had managed to get lost in the massive group of people and stumbling she nearly tripped onto Lancetta but had just barely managed to set herself upright "ah sorry"

Lancetta blinked as Umbra stumbled, hands flashing out to catch and steady the Faunus girl, "Oh, no my apologies! I wasn't watching where I was going. Is everything alright? You look a bit overwhelmed." She smiles warmly.

Umbra steadies herself with Lancettas help "thanks and yeah I'm a bit overwhelmed, not used to so many people" Umbra then spends some time trying to fix her hair and reposition her cloak.

Lancetta gives a laugh and smiles again, "I know, I grew up with big functions like this and I am still feeling a bit overwhelmed." She gives a small giggle as Umbra grooms herself, reaching into her purse and pulling out a comb and offering it to Umbra, "You have a couple tufts loo-" as she spoke she reached up and flicked her finger over the ear gently, blinking in surprise and giving it a few more light flicks, then eyes going wide as her face went brilliant red, "Oh By the Maidens I am so sorry! I thought they were hair and didnt know and they are really cuteandwhycantIstoptalking!?" Her voice getting higher and faster at the end as embarrassment and panic start to take over...

Lancetta stands iron rod straight, hands clasped behind her back as she no longer trusts them, face as red as a pomegranate, "I... Yes, would imagine so.." she smiles awkwardly, "Oh.. I'm Lancetta Lake by the way, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier.." She holds out her hand, though it seems to diverge up towards the ears again, flat panic showing in Lancettas face as she forces herself to grab up Umbras hand and shake it vigorously with both of her own, voice coming out in a small whine, "IamSoSorryyyyy", just barely making it out past the manic smile she plasters on to keep from crying from embarrassment...

Lancetta nods solemnly, but perks up as it seems to sink in, Eyes going wide and even lighter blue, sparkling like the waters of the Purest Lake, "Yes! Of Course!" She does a strange little happy wiggle/bounce, 4 friends! In! One! Day! She LOVED this school!!!

Lancetta gives a nod, and opens her mouth to speak, then goes wide eyed and gives Umbra a light elbow nudge and motions her head to one of the glaring teachers before giving a soft whisper "Maybe we should talk later.."
