Walter continues on after landing and lifts up his goggles. He carefully continues forward, keeping a careful watch out for grimm. What has him curious is who destiny has seen fit to pair him with for his partners.

High in the sky a rather large Nevermore flew. Those that are highly observant would note there was a smaller form within the image of the Grimm...wait...within? ...Yup.
The large Nevermore descended into the forest several feet ahead in a slight opening in the trees. When the bird took to the ground the image left behind was Erins, shadows having slid off his form in wisps into the air.
His back was currently toward Walter though he'd jogged a few paces before crouching in a squatted position the plated violin case trapped to his back. Really he looked so small delicately built, like a stiff wind could blow him over.

As Walter walks along, keeping a sharp and cautious eye (well two) out for Grimm and other students, he sees Erin and walks over. "Hello there. Well considering there's safety in numbers and one of the goals of this exercise is to find the ones who will be your teammates, it seems destiny has decided we are to be partners," the vulpine faunus says to Erin.
"Was your landing okay? Are you injured?" he asks, making sure his new teammate is all good before pushing on.

Erin had originally had his back to Walter. He turned as he heard the man approach and looked him up and down briefly. Not in a rude manner, just checking out who he was to be partnered with. Eventually he smiled.
"It seems so. No..I'm not hurt at all. Kinda just glided down." He made sure his violin case was shouldered and glanced around. "You look unharmed. You're alright then?"
He lifted a hand and pointed off. "I think I saw something over that way when I was in the sky. Did you see anything while you were up there...?"
He'd had time while he was flying to get a decent look off in the distance and had only landed when he thought he should.

Walter nods "I'm fine, thank you," he says with a light smile.
"I think I saw something but I'm not sure. I don't think it'll hurt to check out what you saw though. I'll let you lead the way if you want since you seem to know where it is."

Erin nodded to him. "Did you want me to go back into the sky so that we can see better or did we want to just walk." He paused.. "Can you fly or become Sky Bound?" He question before looking off in the direction he had seen things then looked back at Walter.

the temple can actually be seen in the distance by the two of them barely hidden by the trees.
